# - WHAT IS LAVA LITE? ... LAVA Lite is the official youth program of LAVA, designed to give young athletes a taste of volleyball in a encouraging environment that mixes quality skills training with lots of fun games to build a passion for this wonderful sport. The Lite Program is coached by professional, paid coaches; it is not a volunteer-based program and, as such, the training value and learning quotient is significantly high.
# - WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? ... The Lite Program is for elementary school aged athletes (3rd-5th graders). Both girls and boys are able to participate.
# - HOW ADVANCED IS THE PROGRAM? ... It is for Beginner and Intermediate level players and is a great stepping stone for those interested in learning more about volleyball. Many of our high-level club athletes got their start in the Lite Program. Players who are more advanced should contact our Director Trevor Julian for more info about available programs for advanced athletes; his info is under the Our Director tab.
# - WHEN IS LITE OFFERED? ... There are four annual Lite sessions: Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall. Each session consists of 6-12 weeks (based on season) with one scheduled practice per week.
# - WHAT IS THE COST? ... The cost per player runs from $75-$195 per session (based on length of session).
