Nabil Mardini, one of the Co-Founders of LAVA and a long-time fixture of the club volleyball community, is Director of LAVA Shack. Nabil is considered one of the finest volleyball minds in the region, highly decorated as a club and collegiate coach. As Head Coach of the Pierce Women’s Volleyball Program from 2001-2017, Nabil led the Lady Brahmas to three California State Championships, four State Runner Ups, and fifteen conference titles, with the added bonus of Nabil twice being named AVCA National Two-Year College Coach of the Year.
Nabil has extensive knowledge of the operational and training aspects of the club volleyball world, but is also well known within the volleyball community for his excellent reputation for honest and ethical dealings. His network of loyal contacts is extensive, owing largely to his upstanding personality and outstanding character.
