There are four basic annual Lite sessions: Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall. Each session most commonly consists of 6-10 weeks (length is based on season and location), with one scheduled practice per week. The cost to participate is most commonly $120-$175 per player per session (variability based on length of session and location).

As the schedule permits, some locations might also include Special Sessions (ex: a short Holiday Special in Nov/Dec or a short June Special) or group their basic season sessions more specifically by month (ex: Sept/Oct instead of 'Fall').

Yes and Yes! Each location has its own registration form with specific location details. Online registration can be accessed by location above - click the location box, then register and submit payment online to sign your daughter up for the program.

The Lite Program is largely for elementary school athletes in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. However, 2nd graders and 6th graders are allowed to participate in the Lite with Director approval, and it is recommended for 2nd graders and 6th graders to participate when the following criteria are met:

• For 2nd Graders . . . It is recommended that 2nd graders only participate in the Lite if the following are accurate: (1) the athlete has strong coordination and/or movement skills; (2) the athlete has a strong interest in volleyball; and (3) it is the Winter or Spring session of the Lite Program. We do not recommend 2nd graders start in the fall of their second grade year.
• For 6th Graders . . . It is recommended that Rising 6th Graders participate in the Lite for the Summer and Fall sessions (July through October, apx). 'Rising' means entering 6th grader in the upcoming or newly begun school year. Rising 6th graders are encouraged to attend the Lite for these sessions only. For 6th graders looking to join the Winter, Spring, or Holiday Special sessions (November through June), it is highly recommended those athletes participate in the LAVA Juniors program instead. The Advanced Lite and Lite Plus Programs are one and the same. These programs are the advanced form of Lite for players who have progressed their skills and are ready for more. Not all locations and/or not all season sessions will feature Lite Plus Programs.

The Lite Program offers something for everyone, from those who have never played before to those who have attended multiple Lite sessions. No experience required; beginner and intermediate players welcome!
