LAVA Oaks houses a number of programs and program types under its banner, in addition to our club travel teams. Here is a list of all programs offered at LAVA Oaks:

# - Club Teams . . . We offer club volleyball travel teams for 4th-8th grade girls that only compete regionally in Southern California. Tryouts are in late September or early October and the season traditionally runs Nov-May, although for some teams (especially younger age group teams) the season can be shorter by several weeks or months.

# - Youth Lite Program . . . The Youth Lite Program is an immensely popular offering for 3rd-5th grade girls to learn the sport of volleyball in a fun, friendly, instructive manner. Sessions are seasonal and run for multiple weeks at a time.

# - Juniors Non-Travel Program . . . The Juniors Program is an excellent option for 6th-8th graders who are not ready for a full commitment to club volleyball, but who want to keep their skills up for school volleyball or out of love for the game, or both! It is a non-travel program, sessions are seasonal and run for multiple weeks at a time.

# - Summer Programs . . . LAVA Oaks offers an extensive array of summer program offerings, including camps, workshops, private lessons, and training pods. You can sign up for as much as you want and we want to see you in the gym!

# - Pre-Tryout Clinics & Offerings . . . In advance of Club Tryouts many athletes are eager to get reps in the gym to sharpen their skills. LAVA Oaks offers Pre-Tryout Clinics, Workshops, Training Pods, and Open Gyms for athletes looking to prepare ahead of time.

For more information on any of our programs, please contact our Director Carrie Wright.

YOUTH LITE PROGRAM @ LAVA OAKS
FOR 3RD-5TH GRADE GIRLS

The Youth Lite Program is our popular and successful youth girls training program. The program is seasonal -- Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall -- with each session running for multiple weeks (customarily 8-10 weeks). The cost per player for each session depends upon the length of the session (customarily ranges from $98-$198 per player). It runs once per week for 75 minutes each practice.

The Lite Program is the official youth training and development program of LAVA Oaks. The program is designed to give young athletes a taste of volleyball in a encouraging environment that mixes quality skills training with lots of fun games to build a passion for this wonderful sport. The program is coached by professional, paid coaches; it is not volunteer-based and, as such, the training value and player growth is significant.

The Lite Program is primarily for 3rd-5th graders, although 2nd graders or 6th graders can participate with Director approval on a case-by-case basis depending on available space and the time of year. The program usually runs on two courts, a Beginner/Intermediate Court for newer players and an Advanced Court for experienced youth athletes.

JUNIORS NON-TRAVEL PROGRAM @ LAVA OAKS
FOR 6TH-8TH GRADE GIRLS

The Juniors Program is a strong non-travel training program for middle school athletes. The program is seasonal -- Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall -- with each session running for multiple weeks. The cost per player for each session depends upon the length of the session (customarily ranges from $98-$248 per player). It runs primarily on Wednesdays in Thousand Oaks.

The Juniors Program is the official middle school non-travel training program of LAVA Oaks, designed to provide quality technical training with focus on individual development (skills training and having fun). The program is for girls who are not looking to play on a travel club volleyball team, but who wish to keep their skills up either out of love for the game or a desire to play in high school, or both! It limits both the cost and time commitment required to participate, but still provides excellent training at the hands of professional, paid coaches; it is not volunteer-based and, as such, the training value and player growth is significant.

The Juniors Program is primarily for 6th-8th graders, although 9th graders can participate with Director approval on a case-by-case basis depending on available space and the time of year. 6th graders are encouraged to participate in Juniors instead of the Lite during winter or spring sessions, and the Lite in summer or fall.
